Family Picture and Going Home
Yesterday was our last full day In Guangzhou. Today, after receiving Luke's passport, we'll take a van to travel 3 hours back to Hong Kong. Tomorrow morning is the big, long flight to Chicago. We're hopeful our 3 hour lay over will be enough to make it through Customs and Immigration there. Then we'll be off for Detroit. Pray for us.

Medical Exam Day
Today Luke had his medical exam. It was very clear the moment we walked in and his whole body became tense and he wrapped his little arms around daddy's neck, he knew ouchies were coming. After getting his picture taken for his visa, he relaxed a little and was all smiles.

No Plans Kind of Day Part 1
Today was a 'free' day. Meaning it was free of paperwork and appointments. We took to the streets, taking in the sights, sounds and, unfortunately, the smells.

Liuhuahu Park
>
> Yesterday was relatively uneventful. We applied for Luke's passport. After which, we went with the McLaughlin family for dinner. They are familiar with the area and took us for.......wait for it........MEXICAN food. It made my husband very happy to eat fajitas, beans and rice. I can hardly believe it myself but I didn't take a single picture.
